WorkHealthLife's Mental Health
Whether you need help managing everyday stress, handling life as a parent, or making better food choices, WorkHealthLife offers secure and confidential support around the clock including:

  • access support for your work, health, and life
  • link to resources and interactive tools to help you manage your health and well-being
  • information about how the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) has helped others and ways it can support you, too

Faith-Based Wellness Resources
The United Church Bookstore offers a selection of faith-based wellness resources in hardcopy and e-book format. Visit their website to shop the available resources on topics such as guided meditations, daily prayer devotionals, and other self-care spiritual practices.

Stronger Minds by MindBeacon
A free digital program to support your mental well-being. You will get access to guided digital therapy that is one-to-one and personalized, on your own terms.

Workplace Strategies for Mental Health
A range of tools and resources dedicated to improving psychological health and safety in the workplace.

Budgeting and net worth
Find out how a budget can help you track your income, spending and saving. Your net worth can help you make sure you’re progressing to meet your goals. Visit www.canlife.co/wellbeing to create your own budget and calculate your net worth.

Physical Well-Being
Under the health and well-being section, WorkHealthLife offers articles on physical well-being topics including

Change4Life
Green Shield has an online health portal called Change4Life where you can manage your personal health through a range of personalized tips, educational modules, challenges and goal setting.

The more you use the Change4Life portal, the more points you earn which can be used to bid on great rewards such as Starbucks vouchers or FitBit watches. Watch their video to learn more or get started right away by logging into your Green Shield account. If you have not logged into Green Shield before, all you need is your Plan Member ID (located on your Green Shield card) and your registration. If you do not have your registration key, you can get a new one by following the prompts on their website
