The United Church’s group insurance benefits are provided by Green Shield Canada and Canada Life (formerly Great-West Life), and administered by the United Church Benefits Centre at the General Council Office.
The Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) is a confidential professional counselling service for employees of the United Church who are members of the church’s group insurance plan, and for candidates in United Church theological colleges.
Pension and Benefits Administration System (PABAS)
The United Church Benefits Centre have been working on an enhanced in-house administration system with an intuitive and member-centric portal that will be ready to roll out later this year.
